Rag Doll and Animoto, two must see sites
Got a few really cool sites for you guys.
1. Rag Doll
Rag Doll is actually just a simple flash file but, because of the awesome physics, is a ton of fun. I finally figured out what this reminds me of. Loony Toons! Just some cartoon character falling off a cliff and hitting EVERY single rock on the way down! Or Shrek, when the donkey climbs the cliff and hits every branch on his way down. When she starts hitting a bunch of stuff in rapid succession, I laugh my ass off. Anyways, don’t forget to grab and fling her with your mouse!
You can find it here. Remember to drag her with your mouse if she gets stuck, or if you just feel like flinging her through the air!
2. Animoto
The second is a site called Animoto, which I actually made a very brief mention of a few posts back, but thought it was cool enough to warrant a better review here. In short, it takes a bunch of pictures that you give it and makes a bad ass music video out of them. Here’s one I made in about 2 minutes, make sure to put your headphones on or something, as a big reason why it’s so cool is that the pics really ride the beat.
It’s really easy to set up, you can either upload photo’s from your computer, or it can automatically retrieve them from your facebook, flicker, or photobucket accounts! One word of advice though, if you do upload from another source, such as photobucket, first create a new photobucket album, don’t just dump in your default one. If you upload an album with hundreds of pictures in it, you will have to delete the ones you don’t want in the music video one by one, which is a big pain.

Whoa. That first one was more mesmerizing than Snood. It would be less creepy if the gal looked like Raggedy Ann. And the last one? Yeah, wtf?
